It is the first
indoor gun range and retail center in Jasper County, SC.
Palmetto State Shooting Center is a full service facility
for all gun needs. We have an extensive selection of handguns,
rifles, ammunition and all associated accessories including
gun safes.
Palmetto State Shooting Center is the armorer for
the Bluffton Police Department. The department also
uses the facility to train and qualify their officers with
Palmetto State Shooting Center owner Bob Oberst appointed
as one of the department's training officers. In addition,
several South Carolina State Police officers,
Jasper County Sheriffs Deputies, Beaufort
County Sheriffs Deputies, Beaufort City P.D., Shipyard Plantation Security, Long Cove Security and other local security
companies shoot and train at the Palmetto State Shooting
Center.
Our Chief Instructor was named "VOLUNTEER
INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR" by THE SC DEPARTMENT
OF NATURAL RESOURCES
U.S. Security Associates,
Inc. trains at our facility.
Palmetto State Shooting Center is South
Carolina's only 5 Star NASR (National Association of
Shooting Ranges) rated indoor range and one
of only 11 with a 5 Star rating in The United States
of America.
