Bob Oberst
Dr. Bob Oberst, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), sold his nationally recognized consulting practice in 1992 to devote more time to the pursuit of community work, teaching, and his lifelong hobby with firearms. Oberst, who is listed in Who's Who in Finance and Industry, holds a PhD in financial management and has been a sportsman since the age of 12. An avid hunter and handgun shooter, retirement has allowed him to travel around the country shooting competitively in national handgun competitions. Usually finishing in the top 10%, he has finished first 8 times with 1 second and 2 third place finishes during the past several years. He regularly teaches a course in personal protection and works with young people also so they learn safe gun handling. Bob's credentials are as follows: NRA Certified Instructor in 5 shooting disciplines. Certified by SLED (state law enforcement division) to instruct South Carolina residents to carry a concealed weapon. Certified Glock Armorer. Certified SIG Armorer. Certified NRA Range Safety Officer. Certified IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) Safety Officer. Carl Oberst
Carl Oberst, a resident of Bluffton, SC graduated from Rider College in 1981 with a degree (BS) in Business Administration. After several years as a successful manager with companies including Canon U.S.A., Office Depot and Caldor, Inc., Carl fulfilled a lifelong dream of running his own business when he became a partner at the Palmetto State Shooting Center. An avid hunter and sportsman for more than 30 years, Carl is an NRA (National Rifle Association) and GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) member. He is currently enrolled in several NRA (National Rifle Association) instructor courses. Certified Springfield Armory Armorer. Tim Winget
Tim Winget joins Palmetto State Shooting Center after 27 years as an entrepenuer in the retail carwash and gasoline business. Tim sold his business in 2008 and joined Palmetto State Shooting Center in 2009. Tim has been an avid shooter his whole life. He now gets to enjoy his second love. Tim and his wife Tommi live in Bluffton and have 2 Black Labs named Wash and Wax.	Tim Winget
Jason Garner
Jason Garner, born in Tennessee and raised in South Carolina, graduated from Stratford High School in Goose Creek. After many years working as an auto technician he changed career paths and began working in the firearms industry in early 2000. He is an accomplished gunsmith, pistol instructor & CWP instructor. Jason is the father of 2 sones 7 and 4. His hobbies include shooting and fishing.	Jason Garner
Alan Parks
Alan graduated from Richland Northeast High School in Columbia, SC. He worked for Loomis Fargo & Company, eventually transitioning into the firearms industry with Shooter's Choice in west Columbia and now Palmetto State Shooting Center. Alan has been shooting since he was 8 and is also an avid hunter and fisherman. He is a member of the NRA and SASS(Single Action Shooting Society). He and his wife Tiffany live in Grays, SC.
